What's in My Bag

I actually got this bag last year for about $100 CAD. It's an amazing bag because I can literally put everything inside! I got this bag from Zara and it's called the Office City Bag. Sadly, they no longer carry it. However, they do have similar styles.

This is how the bag looks. There's a shoulder strap and a smaller strap for however you want to carry the bag. For me especially, I love it when a bag has those two options.

One of the biggest selling point of me getting this bag was because there two compartments for your gadgets and more. On the right side there's a padded section for you to put your IPad. You can also put folders or papers. On the left side you put your laptop and it's heavily padded to protect your laptop. I have the old Macbook 13" so it's hefty compared to the new ones retina display. I would day that this bag would only carry 13" or below sized laptops. This is a bonus because you can use this bag for everyday wear or simply just for school. If you're lazy like me and you don't like switching in between bags, you can just use this bag for both :)

This is what the inside looks like. The lining of the bag is a burgundy colour. As you can see there's two sides and what's separating them is another pocket/compartment. I will start talking about the right side compartment first.
On the right side compartment there are slots for you to put your credit cards. In the middle is a little pocket. I use this to put in my bus pass, headphones and keys. You can use it to put your phone in. On left side there's a slot for you to put your phone in. I always leave my phone in there for easy access and so that I'll always know where my phone is.

This is what I had on the right side of my bag.
-Kate Spade Wallet
I will show how my wallet looks on the inside down below.
-Bus pass
-Iphone 5s
-Versace glasses
-Texting gloves
I absolutely love these gloves, especially for the colder months. I can now text without freezing           my hands off :)

This is how my Kate Spade Wallet looks on the inside. This is a travel wallet hence why it's so big! But I absolutely love oversized things so I had to buy this wallet for everyday use. There's a little section for you to hook a pen onto your wallet. In the section where you normally put your Driver license, I added the picture of my boyfriend and me during our prom. This was 2 years ago. If you want a more in depth  description of my wallet you can let me know in the comments below.

On the left side of my purse I have my journal. I carry this around with me everywhere. This is where I jot down ideas for my blog or quotes, songs that I like. I basically write everything I need to remember. I also carry a battery juice for my phone. This has saved my life numerous times. There's also bobby pins for emergency use. The pink bag is my makeup/necessity bag.

Inside my makeup/necessity bag I carry these items with me.
-MUFE lipstick
Yes, I did get this from Sephora for my birthday gift :$
-Hand Sanitizer
-Clinique Happy
-Travolo
You can put any of your favourite perfume in this mini spritzer
-Tylenol
-Nivea Hydro Care Lip Balm
-Floss
This is actually so important. I hate nothing more than having something stuck in my teeth                   and there being nothing I can do about it.
-Face and Body Wipes
You'd never know when you need face wipes, hence why I carry a small pack of wipes.

The reason why I don't like to carry make up around with me is due to the fact that I hardly ever have to retouch my makeup. On days where I have to go to a fancy event I would pack my makeup in a bag. But usually I just do my make up in the morning and it would lasts all day.

In the middle pocket I carry small things that usually has to do with toiletries.

-Hand sanitizer
-Hand cream
-Tampon
-Kleenex
-Breath mints
I forgot to add it to the picture. Breath mints or gum is a necessity!

I normally always have my pencil case in here but I lost it, lol. This is a very good bag in a sense that I can carry everything with me! It's very sturdy and it's been a year of me heavily using the bag and it has not shown any wear.

Do you have a bag that you love at the moment? What's a necessity that you must carry in your bag? Let me down in the comments!

Much love,
Cindy.

Benefit's Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O’ Blushes Review

Sorry I haven't been updating a lot recently. I've been super busy lately especially with exams coming up :( Worst time of the year for every university student. I bought this baby during the Sephora VIB sale and I absolutely love it. It was selling at such a good price and you get quite a bit. I've been wanting to try Benefit's blushes for a while now, so getting this palette was a no brainer.

L-R: Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb, Watt's Up, Hoola, Coralista, and Rocketeur

Benefit's Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O’ Blushes - $36 USD

I feel bad posting this palette so late because they're no longer available on Sephora's website and they're out of stock on the Benefit's website. I'm not sure if they'll be restocking anytime soon but hopefully they do because this palette is absolutely amazing.

What's included:
-Dandelion       4.0g Net wt. 0.14 oz.
-Sugarbomb     6.0g Net wt. 0.21 oz.
-CORALista
5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz.
-Bella bamba
5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz.
-Hoola
5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz.
-Rockateur
5.0g Net wt. 0.17 oz.
-Watt’s up!
1.5 g Net wt. 0.05 oz
-Small Brush
You get five blushes, one bronzer, one highlighter and one small brush. The small brush is basically useless, haha.  The blushes are amazing. My favourite at the moment would be Rockateur. It's perfect for the season and all of the blushes last all day. All of them are pigmented and blendable. The texture is very soft. I'm not a big fan of Watt's up because it simply does not highlight, it makes no difference once applied.

With Flash L-R: Dandelion, Bella Bamba and Sugarbomb

Without Flash L-R: Dandelion, Bella Bamba and Sugarbomb
With Flash L-R: Hoola, Coralista, and Rockateur

Without Flash L-R: Hoola, Coralista, and Rockateur

 With Flash: Watt's up

Without Flash: Watt's Up

Overall this is a very good set to buy. If you're in need of blushes and can't decide on which blush colour to buy, simply buy this set. You get quite a selection of Benefit's blushes and it's affordable. It's also a good gift to buy for your makeup loving friends.

Have you tried this palette? What did you like or didn't like about it? Any other questions or comment leave down below.

Much love,
Cindy.

tarte Bon Voyage Collector's Set And Travel Bag Review

I picked this set up during the Sephora VIB sale because of how pretty the eyeshadows looked. I love the packaging and I thought that it was selling at a great price.

tarte Bon Voyage Collector's Set And Travel Bag - $71 CAD

When you buy this set, it includes: a travel bag, 20 pan eyeshadow palette, deluxe sized mascara (lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara), limited-edition deluxe cheek stain in Muse (soft nude), LipSurgence lip gloss in Visionary (apricot), LipSurgence lip tint in Romantic (peachy nude), Deluxe maracuja oil, and smooth operator Amazonian clay finishing powder.

The price does seem a little daunting but it is worth it as you get quite a bit. The pay off of the eyeshadows are so-so. Some colours are pigmented and some doesn't show up much. Most eyeshadows last up to 7 hours. The lip products are okay as it doesn't that long, so touch ups throughout the day is needed. The cheek stain is also satisfactory as it doesn't last long as well.

L-R: Palace Of Versaille, Moulin Rouge, I Think I Cannes, My Own Cotes De Rhone, Boudoir Noir, Fall In Louvre, Provence Upon A Time, Eiffel For You, Too Haute To Handle, Bastille In The Night, Chantilly Lace, Merci You Later, No Champagne No Gain, Take On Bordeaux, French Riviera, C’est La Vie, Marseille The Word, Play Nice, On A Good Notre Dame, and Le Cordon Bleu

Lancôme CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base Review

I have sparse lashes and I hate them! So, every time I hear that there's something out in the market that can make your lashes look longer I am sold.

Lancôme CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base - $29 CAD
This product gave me high hopes. I've been wanting to try it for ages but never got around to it. This product acts as a primer. So before you apply your mascara you apply this product first OR you can apply this mascara before you go to sleep and it basically nourishes and replenishes your lashes. CILS BOOSTER XL also is infused with vitamin E and micro-fibers.

This is the wand. The formula is white, but don't worry as you apply black mascara the white completely disappears.

Lashes without any products on it

Lashes with one layer of CILS BOOSTER XL

Lashes after CILS BOOSTER XL and two layers of mascara

These are the mascaras I used. I apply the waterproof Pumped Up Colossal Volum'Express mascara as the first layer and then a layer of Great Lash Mascara.

Lashes with CIL BOOSTER XL                                   Lashes using just mascara

Overall, there is a difference in my lashes when I use CIL BOOSTER XL. It is a little expensive but it is worth it if you have sparse lashes like me.
(none of these pictures are photoshopped)

Do you know any other tricks to make your lashes look longer?

Much love,
Cindy.

MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation Review

I first heard of this foundation from Gigigorgeous in her monthly favourites video, which I will link here. She raved about it so much that I wanted to try it out on my own. I kept putting it off and I actually end up getting this foundation from a good friend of mine.

 The tip of the foundation
The consistency of the foundation
The foundation after it is blended in

If you are in need of a full coverage foundation then you are in luck, this foundation will be perfect for you. However, I like medium coverage so this was a little too much for me. When wearing a foundation I don’t like to feel as if I’m wearing something over my skin. With this foundation I felt as if I had a thin layer of something over my skin the whole day. Maybe it’s in my head but I definitely don’t like how heavy the formula is. In a way, the foundation is perfect if you want full coverage for a special occasion. My skin is very sensitive so it didn't cooperate well with the formula of the foundation.

The foundation is in a squeezable tube so it’s an easy and a clean way to get foundation out. I also love how the foundation is in SPF15. The size of the foundation is 40 ml / 1.3 US fl oz. The foundation comes in 20 shades so there's quite a selection for everyone.

The foundation is quite dewey, buildable and it is long wearing. Also, a little bit of the foundation goes a long way as it is very pigmented.

Have you tried this foundation before? If so, how'd you like it? What's your favourite foundation?

Much love,
Cindy.
